This Labor Days weekend (September 4-6, 2009) is Olympia Harbor Days.
The festival features vintage tugboat racing on Sunday afternoon, but you can tour some of the tugs at the docks, and indulge in a little eating, shopping, and people watching as well.
I went down Friday evening and took a few pictures.

"So How's the Diet Going?"
Pretty well, actually. Thanks for asking.
I have been keeping my food journal up, which is good. I have been staying pretty close to my guidelines. I have been continuing to go to the gym, mainly spending time on the treadmill. I did 45 minutes tonight, about 2.25 miles. That's the best since I have started back after the surgery.
I figure I will keep on with the treadmill and elliptical machine through the end of the year and work on building back up my fitness base before I branch out into anything else. I am anxious to get back to the Yoga but am also a little leery of doing anything to reinjure myself.
As of this morning I am down just about 8 pounds in the last 10 days.
